For children, play is the best way to learn. At this age, they build their cognition of the world through their body's exploration of the outside world. The playville nursery is designed to encourage children to move in different ways and help them fully explore their physical and cognitive abilities by using the building's various topographical structures.
"Playville" has four areas, providing different building terrain and structures, encouraging children to walk, climb, jump and crawl, which is just an indoor playground. Of course, the safety of children is the most important. The designer replaced the hardwood floor with the low impact floor to prevent the children from getting hurt because of the excitement. The children entered the fog tree tunnel through the entrance hall. Here, a solid wooden slab covering the floor and walls forms an arch.
The "fog tree tunnel" is made up of wooden boards covering lockers and nursing rooms. The gradient film on the glass wall of the space will produce a foggy background. On the other side of the glass, there is a covered outdoor area called "dune oasis". Here, children can play in bunkers or jump on trampolines.
In the main game area, there is a white swimming pool. The translucent ball made of custom foam blocks is full of "swimming pool", and children can play with water in it. Out of the main game area is the "corridor hall", which is a wooden platform on which children can climb or slide. At the same time, a hidden hiding place is formed below, like the "secret base" in our childhood.
