In this case, the director of the SINT-LUCAS School of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium, added a new studio building and a small library. In the master rule, the closed monastery across two blocks was turned into an open art school, and the original introverted garden became a public square between two blocks. Then follow Zhengzhou professional art school decoration company Hongyu Tang together to see it.
The studio building of the school's Changchang uses a large fold shape, with concrete and glass alternately distributed on the outer facade. The sky shines through the top skylight, bringing light to the school's collective studio space. The height of the studio is up to two levels, and a lot of space is added. On the new square, there is an isolated library building with translucent skin, the library books behind this skin and the school cafeteria on the first floor. The bookshelf is the structure element of the conch as a building.
Workshop building is also an autonomous form of stacking based on horizontal, alternating, opaque and translucent volumes. It is an irregular accumulation of rectangular block volumes with the middle translucent portion providing zenith light to the working stands. The two workshops have a double-layer height and a mezzanine floor with a single-layer height at the top. Each workshop has enclosed walls as the main level of the working surface. the function of the wall is to move from one core to the beam of the other core in order to obtain the workspace without internal structural elements.
